15 | Jun A kind word!

I got an email from an incredibly talented artist in Sweden.  ”Don’t give up”, she said.  She read my post “Starving Artist”.  It is amazing how a few kind honest words can really make a difference.  I am not giving up.  I might have to get a job, lol, but I will continue to carve, possibly paint, and just create.

I know my work is good, and looking at the work of this other artist, I better step up my game! There is always room for improvement.  Maybe adding paintings and pencil portraits to my site will help?  Maybe I should focus on what I do?  I am always questioning myself and what I am doing.  Starting out is tough.  Having a customer order 8 of my plaques tells me what I need to know.

So, I will continue to carve, and hopefully soon, I will be carving these full time!!
